At The Woodcraft Gallery, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Because many of our products are handcrafted from natural Australian timber, each piece is unique and may show natural variation in grain, colour, tone, texture, and finish. These natural variations are part of the character of the product and are not considered faults.
1. Change of Mind
We do not generally offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, including where you:

found the item elsewhere

changed your mind after purchase
This does not affect any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product does not meet a consumer guarantee, a business must provide a remedy, which may include a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the problem.
2. Natural Timber Variation
Many of our products are handcrafted from natural Australian timber. Variations in:

tone

texture

natural markings

finish
are part of the natural beauty and individuality of the product and are not faults or defects.
Product images are provided as a guide only. Because timber is a natural material and screen displays can vary, the item you receive may differ slightly from website images.
3. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives:

please contact us as soon as possible so we can assess the issue and work with you toward an appropriate resolution.
Under Australian Consumer Law, if a product does not meet a consumer guarantee, the remedy may be a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the size of the problem. Consumers may also be entitled to compensation for loss or damage caused by the problem.
4. Major Failures
If a product has a major failure, you may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Minor Problems
If the problem is not major, we may choose to repair the item, replace it, or provide another appropriate remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. The ACCC states that minor problems must be fixed by at least providing a free repair.
6. Custom, Personalised and Made-to-Order Items
We do not generally offer refunds or exchanges for custom-made, personalised, or made-to-order items where you simply change your mind.
However, this does not affect your rights if the item is faulty, damaged, or does not meet a consumer guarantee under Australian law.

8. Return Shipping Costs
If the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or does not meet a consumer guarantee, we will work with you to arrange a suitable return method or reimburse reasonable return postage where required.
If we agree to accept a return in other circumstances, return postage costs are generally your responsibility unless we agree otherwise.
9. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will generally be processed back to the original payment method within a reasonable time after approval.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
10. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
