At The Woodcraft Gallery, we take care to pack and dispatch your order as promptly and safely as possible.
1. Shipping Locations
We currently ship within Australia using Australia Post and selected local courier providers.
If you are located outside Australia and wish to place an order, please contact us before purchasing to confirm whether shipping can be arranged.
2. Processing Time
Orders are generally processed and dispatched within 3 business days, unless otherwise stated on the product listing or where additional manufacturing time is required.
Some items may be:

made in small production runs

temporarily low in stock

custom or personalized
Where this applies, dispatch may take longer. If there is a significant delay, we will make reasonable efforts to let you know.
3. Delivery Time frames
Once dispatched, delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping service used.
Australia Post says its regular Parcel Post service generally takes 2–6 business days within Australia, although actual delivery times can vary depending on lodgement point and destination.
Delivery time frames are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Delays may occur due to:

4. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout unless otherwise stated.
Where special freight arrangements are required for bulky, oversized, fragile, or custom items, we may contact you with a shipping quote before finalising dispatch.
5. Tracking
Where tracking is available, tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
Australia Post states Parcel Post includes tracking and up to $100 compensation as part of the service.
6. Authority to Leave
If you choose or instruct the delivery provider to leave your parcel unattended, delivery will be at your risk from the time the parcel is marked as delivered.
7. Incorrect Address Details
Please ensure your shipping details are correct when placing your order.
We are not responsible for delays or delivery issues arising from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by you.
If a parcel is returned to us due to incorrect address details or failure to collect it, additional shipping charges may apply before the order is resent.
8. Damaged, Lost or Delayed Orders
If your parcel arrives damaged, appears lost, or is significantly delayed, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will work with the delivery provider to investigate the issue and, where appropriate, assist you with a suitable resolution.
You may be asked to provide:

photographs of damaged packaging or goods

confirmation of delivery details
9. Risk and Title
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, to the extent permitted by law.
Ownership of the goods passes to you once full payment has been received.
10. Custom and Made-to-Order Items
Custom, personalized, or made-to-order items may require longer production and dispatch times. Estimated production time frames may be shown on the product page or advised separately.
Once production has commenced, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
11. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Shipping Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
If a product arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, you may be entitled to a remedy. ACCC guidance states consumer guarantees apply automatically to goods sold to consumers.
