2. Use of This Website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the website.
You must not:
-
misuse this website
-
attempt to interfere with website security or functionality
-
use this website for fraudulent purposes
-
copy, reproduce, or exploit website content without permission
We may suspend or restrict access to the website if we reasonably believe misuse has occurred.
3. Products
The Woodcraft Gallery specialises in handcrafted timber products and related goods.
Because many of our products are handmade and made from natural Australian timber, each piece may vary in:
-
grain
-
colour
-
tone
-
finish
-
size
-
natural markings and features
These natural variations are part of the character of the product and are not defects.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, measurements, and images are accurate, but minor differences may occur.
4. Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected goods.
All orders are subject to:
-
availability
-
payment being successfully received
-
our acceptance of the order
We may decline or cancel an order where:
-
a product is unavailable
-
there is an error in pricing or description
-
we suspect fraudulent activity
-
we are otherwise unable to fulfil the order
If an order is cancelled after payment has been made, we will refund the amount paid using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
5. Pricing
All prices shown on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change without notice.
Unless otherwise stated, prices do not include delivery charges. Shipping costs, if applicable, will be shown during checkout or otherwise advised before payment is completed.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure prices are accurate, but if a pricing error occurs, we may cancel the order and provide a refund or contact you before proceeding. The ACCC notes that businesses must not mislead consumers and must comply with consumer guarantee obligations.
6. Payment
Payment must be made at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed.
We may accept payment through third-party payment providers. By making a purchase, you agree to comply with any relevant payment provider terms that apply to your transaction.
We do not generally store full debit or credit card details on our own systems.
7. Shipping and Delivery
We will make reasonable efforts to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on our website or otherwise advised to you.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on location, courier services, seasonal demand, weather events, and other factors beyond our control.
Risk in goods passes to you on delivery, to the extent permitted by law.
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, please contact us as soon as possible so we can work with you toward a resolution.
8. Custom, Made-to-Order, or Personalised Items
Where a product is custom-made, personalised, or made to your specific requirements:
-
production may take longer than standard items
-
changes may not be possible once production has started
-
refunds or exchanges may not be available for change of mind, unless required by law
Nothing in this clause excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Change of Mind
We do not generally offer refunds for change of mind on handcrafted, custom-made, made-to-order, or personalised products unless we choose to do so in our discretion.
For standard products, any change-of-mind return policy we offer will be set out separately on our website.
This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Consumer Guarantees and Faulty Products
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to remedies such as repair, replacement, or refund where required by law. The ACCC explains that consumer guarantees apply automatically when businesses sell goods or services to consumers.
If you believe a product is faulty, damaged, not as described, or does not meet a consumer guarantee, please contact us with details and, where possible, photographs or supporting information.
Where required by law, we will provide an appropriate remedy.
11. Gift Cards and Promotional Offers
If we issue gift cards, vouchers, or promotional codes, they may be subject to separate terms, including expiry dates, minimum spend requirements, and exclusions.
Promotional offers cannot usually be combined unless expressly stated.
We reserve the right to withdraw or amend promotions at any time, subject to applicable law.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, product descriptions, images, graphics, logos, branding, layout, and design, is owned by or licensed to The Woodcraft Gallery unless otherwise stated.

We may update, modify, suspend, or withdraw any part of the website at any time without notice.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any non-excludable rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation. The ACCC states that consumer guarantees cannot be excluded by contract terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
19. Changes to These Terms
